Finest in Architecture Rewarded at AJ100 Awards
The Architects Journal AJ100 Awards took place at the stylish 8 Northumberland Avenue in London on Wednesday to recognise the best architecture practices in the UK. The AJ100 remains the authoritative survey of the largest architecture practices in the UK and the awards recognise and celebrate the most innovative and successful practices in what has been another challenging year for the industry.
Christine Murray Editor of the Architect's Journal commented that: "The last five years haven't been easy. Fees and margins have come under pressure. Undercutting has been a plague. The words design architect and delivery architects have not only crept into our vocabulary, they've become commonplace. But as a group, The AJ100 has proved resilient. You shape the British profession, and you have the critical mass to change it for the better."
Following on from the 2012 red acrylic tablet design, this year the awards were blue with the concentric circle pattern following through from the event branding. The result is a very modern and eye catching award that is in keeping with the strong branding of the event. Find out more about the AJ100 winners on the AJ100 website.
