The BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards took place on Sunday with a brand new trophy designed and manufactured by Gaudio Awards.

2014 Man Booker Prize Winner Revealed

We are always delighted when clients return to us year after year, especially when it is an award as prestigious as the Man Booker Prize. It is one of our favourite awards of the year and seems to be treasured by the few who are lucky enough to receive it.

Ryan Giggs Wins the 2014 Football Extravaganza Award

We have worked closely with the music charity Nordoff Robbins for a number of years, creating a variety of awards to support their fundraising events. Our Design Manager was particularly excited this year when the brief for the 2014 Football Extravaganza Award came through, as the recipient would be non-other than Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

Gaudio in partnership with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

We have been working with the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research charity for several years, providing awards for various events and it is a charity that is very close to our hearts. Our most recent project was to design some bespoke awards for their Calendar Girls events, which was a great success and raised much needed funds for the charity.

Why Present Awards and Trophies?

During tough economic times we all look carefully at everything to see where we can make cut-backs. Should the cuts be extended to the awards and trophies? Not necessarily. It’s always important to make sure you are getting good value for money, but it’s also important to ensure you have an award that you are proud of, an award that people aspire to achieve. The award is often the focal point of the photographs and a memento of success and the hard work involved to get there, so it’s important that it matches the aspirations of the event and represent the brand well.

One Direction Win Best Live Act at 2013 Silver Clef Awards

The annual Nordoff Robbins Silver Clef Awards took place this weekend with the boy band of the moment One Direction picking up the Best Live Act award. They managed to beat off competition from the Rolling Stones, Mumford & Sons and Coldplay in the public vote. The One Direction fan base came out in full force, with almost a quarter of all the 26,000 votes cast going to the X Factor winners. Harry Styles saying of the news "We are over the moon. Congratulations to Nordoff Robbins on another amazing Silver Clef Awards. What an incredible charity, helping people with music therapy."

Gaudio Celebrates at the Conference Awards 2013

The guests arriving at the Conference Awards 2013 on Friday 7th June were treated to a sunny afternoon welcome at the fabulous Brewery venue in Central London but it wasn’t just the weather that had attendees keeping their fingers crossed. With nominations in 19 categories for the main event and 15 categories for the newly launched Conference Venue and Supplier Awards many were hoping to walk away with the honours and a coveted Conference Awards trophy.

 

Countdown to the Conference Awards 2013

The countdown has begun to the most prestigious event in the conference and events calendar. The Conference Awards 2013 takes place this Friday lunchtime at the fabulous Brewery venue in London. Nordoff Robbins Opens 'Best Live Act Award' to Public Vote

The UK's leading music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins, are asking the public to vote for the Best Live act of the year for the 2013 O2 Silver Clef Awards. A panel of music industry experts have taken the top 100 rated shows from Tickmaster's UK website and created a shortlist of 30 of the finest live acts in the country.

Next Generation of Nurses Honoured at the Student Nursing Times Awards

The winners of the Student Nursing Times Awards were announced last week at a glitzy ceremony held at The Grange in London. The event, now in it's second year, was attended by over 400 inspirational nurses, education providers and mentors. 17 custom designed awards were handed out to students, mentors and lecturers who excel and go the extra mile.

Public Servants Recognised by the Guardian Awards

The Guardian Newspaper's ninth annual Public Services Awards took place on Tuesday 20th November at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall, London. Not only did shortlisted applicants have the chance to take home a Gaudio designed award, they also became part of the Guardian's Public Leaders Network, encouraging an exchange of best practice ideas to promote innovation across Whitehall, local government and the NHS.

Pride of Britain Awards 2012

This year saw 13th Pride of Britain award ceremony take place. Founded in 1999 truly remarkable people are recognised for bravely and going above and beyond. Every year 7 million viewers tune in to watch host Carol Vorderman tell the tales of these truly worthy award winners. Information is Beautiful!

The inaugural Information is Beautiful Awards took place on Friday to celebrate the greatest in data visualization and information design. Entries included a map showing the value of body parts, a graphic illustrating what plot details make a great novel and a map of popular U.S. surnames! The info-graphics are amazing and well worth a look on the Information is Beautiful website.

HSJ Efficiency Award Winners Announced

On the 25th of September The Lancaster London hosted the 2nd HSJ Efficiency award to 800 healthcare professionals. Hosted by mock the weeks Miles Jupp, the awards identified and rewarded the organisations that have delivered tangible improvements in healthcare efficiency along with cost savings, whilst maintaining the highest levels of patient care.
