NextGen Series Line-up Confirmed: Cream of Europe Onboard
As the Euro 2012 tournament kicks off, one of the most exciting competitions of last year has announced the 2012/13 line-up. The top clubs in Europe are signed-up including Arsenal, Juventus, Barcelona, Ajax, Inter Milan and Chelsea. Many of those that impressed in the 2011/12 tournament will be hoping to take part in the current Euro 2012 competition.
The NextGen series is bigger and better this year with 9 new clubs taking part. The six groups are as follows:
Group One - FC Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, , Vfl Wolfsburg, RSC Anderlecht.
Group Two - Manchester City FC, Juventus Football Club, Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahce.
Group Three - Chelsea FC, AFC Ajax, CSKA Moscow, Molde FK.
Group Four - Sporting Clube de Portugal, Celtic FC, Aston Villa FC, PSV Eindhoven
Group Five - Liverpool FC, Borussia Dortmund, Internazionale, Rosenborg BK.
Group Six - Arsenal FC, Athletico Bilbao, Olympique de Marseille, Olympiacos.
Commenting on Juventus’ participation in next season’s NextGen Series, Justin Andrews, the tournament’s co-founder said:
“Juventus FC are an exceptional club to complete the tournament’s 24 teams! We now have the champions of England, Italy, Germany, Holland, Greece, Norway and Scotland involved in the tournament and we’re eager to see who prove themselves as the future stars of European football.”
