Ryan Giggs Wins the 2014 Football Extravaganza Award
We have worked closely with the music charity Nordoff Robbins for a number of years, creating a variety of awards to support their fundraising events. Our Design Manager was particularly excited this year when the brief for the 2014 Football Extravaganza Award came through, as the recipient would be non-other than Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs.

Theo Walcott Named as the Arsenal Player of the Month
Theo Walcott has been selected by the fans as the EA Sports player of the month for October after picking up 31.4% of the vote. Although the England international only made one start last month, his hat-trick against Reading in the Capital One Cup made a lasting impression on the supporters. Theo sparked the famous comeback from 4-0 down and scored the winning goal in injury time to secure a 6-5 win.

Gaudio Kicks Off the Football Season with a Huge Shipment of Football League Trophies
The football season has kicked off and don't we know it! Yesterday saw the shipment of 60 player and manager of the month awards for the npower Championship, League 1 and League 2. This capped off a very busy couple of months in production cutting, polishing, engraving, printing and assembling the awards.

NextGen Series Line-up Confirmed: Cream of Europe Onboard
As the Euro 2012 tournament kicks off, one of the most exciting competitions of last year has announced the 2012/13 line-up. The top clubs in Europe are signed-up including Arsenal, Juventus, Barcelona, Ajax, Inter Milan and Chelsea. Many of those that impressed in the 2011/12 tournament will be hoping to take part in the current Euro 2012 competition.

FIFA Street Goes on Tour for the Pro Player Tournament
Following the success of the FIFA 12 Pro Player Tournament in October, EA approached Gaudio to design a new bespoke trophy for the FIFA Street Pro Player Tournament which is currently under way. Top players from the Premierships biggest clubs were itching to get their hands on the joypads again to take home the coveted prize.

Inter Milan Lift the NextGen Trophy After Dramatic Penalty Shootout
After 120 gruelling minutes Ajax and Internazionale Milano could not be separated in the NextGen series final held at Leyton Orient on Saturday. 2,500 fans watched as the game progressed to penalties and Inter managed to beat firm favourites Ajax.

Scottish FA Cup Player of the Round Awards
William Hill approached Gaudio for some sporting trophies with a difference for the Scottish FA Cup Player of the Round Awards. We came up with high quality profiled aluminium awards mounted on to a tiered aluminium base that reflects the motto of the Scottish Football Association – Passion, Pride, Spirit.

Jose Mourinho Joins League of Legends
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has been crowned "Legend of Football" after receiving his Gaudio designed Football Extravaganza award. The former Chelsea manager was presented with his award at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London by former winner Alan Shearer.
Now in it's 16th year, it has become the longest running annual charity football event, and has raised over £5m for Nordoff Robbins. Jose said upon receiving his award

"Some great people from English football and also some friends have won this award, but the most important thing is what you can do for the kids and of course I am proud that I will go home with a really beautiful award to remember my time in England but more important than that is to go with the notion that I did something for the kids."
Previous winners include Sir Bobby Robson, Kenny Dalglish, Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Alex Ferguson,
Harry Redknapp, Alan Shearer and Eric Cantona.
